Green Genes
In the late 1980s, one of my heroes, George Meyer, created his own little zine called Army Man. It lasted a whole three issues and is pound-for-pound one of the funniest endeavors ever undertaken. It included jokes supplied by future funnymen Bob Odenkirk (Mr. Show), John Swartzwelder (The Simpsons), Jon Vitti (The Simpsons), Jack Handey (Saturday Night Live), Andy Breckman (Monk), Ian Maxtone-Graham (The Simpsons) and others. It is my favorite publication of all time.

Being the abhorrently unoriginal bastard that I am, I completely stole George Meyer's blueprint and made my own low-budget knock-off, which I called "Green Genes." Like Meyer, I made it for my friends and distributed it to random people whom I felt like infecting with the virus of my comedy. Unlike Meyer, my magazine sucks.

In short, if Army Man was The Beatles, Green Genes is an Oasis cover band.

WARNING: Green Genes contains some humor so dark you need a moral flashlight to find the punchline.
